In February 2017, True Colours arrived at the monopoly in Sweden. It got quite a lot of attention in the beginning because it has such a lovely colorful bottle. The message the rainbow colors now adays bring is also something very positive for many of us, which of course springs to mind. The cava is produced by Sumarocca, which is a relatively large producer just outside Sant Sadurní d’Anoia. Sumarocca has a large portfolio with everything from easy-drinking young cavas to more long-aged and intense. At systembolaget there are two more of their products avalible.

True colours is a fruity and easy-to-drink cava that fits perfectly as a pre-drink or just by the glass when you feel like it. The mousse is fresh and the acid perfectly adequate. For my personal taste, I think it is a little too sweet and that it would probably do well, even if Sumarroca chose to add a little less sugar. On the whole, I believe that True Colours is a cava that many would appreciate.
