Planning for Happy Friday Cava.

Tomorrow it is Friday!At the end of a very exciting and sunny week, we will celebrate the coming weekend with our very good friend F. Like us she loves bubbles and I am taking the opportunity to plan a nice "Happy Friday Cava dinner".

I think I will make the menu like this: (Or I will plan and buy everything and my fantastic husband might do the cooking, he is just the best!)

  •  Moules Marinière with home made toasted bread and to this Juvé Camps Gran
  • Dessert will be citrus and passionfruit salad with vanilla ice-cream, and to this a Frisant de Gel Gewürztraminer from Gramona.

I'm very excited about the Frisant de Gel since I have never tried it before.

Moules Marinières

1 net of mussels ( ½ kilo) 3 large shallots 30 cl white wine three cloves of garlic Parsley, to your liking 1 tablespoon of lobster stock


-Wash the mussels in cold water and take out the ones that do not close. -Chop the shallots and garlic into small pieces. -Heat a few tablespoons of oil and a knob of butter in a large saucepan and fry the onion and garlic until golden. -Pour in the wine and the stock and boil up, ad the mussels and cook until they have opened up.

Sprinkle the parsley over the mussels and serve immediately! This recipe is a piece of cake and still so fantastically good.
